I have been super excited for NYX to release their new lip line called, Lip Lingerie. All the shades in this line are nude. Nude lip shades are something I’ve never really tried because I thought “why would I want a lip color no one can see?” but I realized nude doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t see the color. Nude lips are all the rage right now and NYX did a great job creating a wide range of nude colors to choose from. Each Lip Lingerie comes in a clear plastic tube so you can see each color. The colors may look similar at first glance but there are some subtle and not so subtle differences between them. I have tried out a few of the shades and of the ones I’ve tried, Lace Detail is the closest color to my skin tone. This is a subtle shade that would be perfect for work or when you have a really dramatic eye look or can be worn alone! This liquid formula goes on smooth and adds opaque color. The only downside I’ve found about this new formula is that they feel sticky on the lips as if the formula never dries. I personally enjoy the shades and all of the nude shades are very on trend. I recommend the Lip Lingerie line based on the range of colors and their intensity but keep in mind they feel sticky.
